Sports Camp Scholarships

Central EMC annually awards two Touchstone Energy Sports Camp Scholarships to local students in Chatham, Harnett, Lee, Moore or Randolph counties. Usually a young man is selected to attend the Carolina Basketball School at UNC, and one young lady wins a scholarship to attend the Wolfpack Women’s Basketball Camp at N.C. State.

To be eligible to apply, students must be in the sixth or seventh grade during the upcoming school year, have permission from a parent or guardian to attend the overnight camp and must provide their own transportation if selected to attend. Applicants will be judged on academics, extra-curricular activities and an essay.

The deadline for 2025 sports camp applications is March 31st.
